The model shows a gentleman and a pretty lady dressed in period costume. We imagine that they have been either out harvesting or gathering firewood for kindling. The lady carries a bundle of reeds or corn on her head, she wears a wonderful striped sash - and the gentleman appears to be holding a jug.
Charming beyond! the piece in good condition. There is a mild hairline on the back, behind the ladies sash but it make no difference to the look of the piece.
